Nusa Dua

The Nusa Dua is an area in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia, known as an enclave of large 5-star resorts managed by Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation. It is located 22 kilometers from Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali, and administered under South Kuta District. Nusa Dua means two islands (nusa ‘island’, dua ‘two’), because there are 2 islands in the bay of The Nusa Dua. On the southern side lies Peninsula Island, and on the northern side lies Nusa Dharma Island, which is smaller but shadier, and which contains the Pura/Temple Nusa Dharma. The Nusa Dua built with Balinese life concept of “Tri Hita Karana” (three of the harmony or balance to create the peaceful as well as happiness), that has meaning to keep the harmony as well as balance between human to God, human-to-human and human to environment.

This area is equipped with beautiful white sandy beaches along 2 kilometers more, and has a complete coastal ecosystem of coral reefs, seagrass and mangrove. In addition to donating coastal protection and marine tourism services to the Nusa Dua tourism area, its coastal resources are a source of food and fisheries for local communities
